Holly Springs Elementary School opened its doors in 1996, built to serve a growing community of families in southern Wake County. From the start, the school has been rooted in strong academics, dedicated teachers, and a vibrant, inclusive school culture. Today, we’re proud to support more than 750 students and 85 teachers and staff, in a school consistently praised for its supportive environment and high expectations.
The Holly Springs Elementary PTA has been there every step of the way — partnering with school leadership to fund enrichment opportunities, host family events, and support classrooms. In the 2024–2025 school year, we had 164 active PTA members, and we’re building on that momentum to make this our most impactful year yet.
Together with our Cheetah families, teachers, and community sponsors, we’re proud to continue a legacy of collaboration that helps every child thrive — inside the classroom and beyond.
The Holly Springs Elementary PTA Board of Directors is a team of parent and staff volunteers elected each year to lead our school’s parent-teacher organization. Our board works closely with school leadership to support students, empower teachers, organize events, and manage PTA fundraising efforts throughout the year. We handle big-picture planning, budget oversight, and community partnerships — all with the goal of helping every child succeed. If you’re ever curious about what we’re working on or want to get involved, we’re just an email away!

PTA committee members are the heart of our day-to-day work — coordinating events, welcoming families, managing communications, supporting staff, and so much more. Whether it’s organizing the book fair, running the school store, or planning teacher appreciation, our committees help make Holly Springs Elementary a more connected, caring place. Volunteering on a committee is a great way to meet other parents and make a difference, even if you only have a few hours a month. There’s something for everyone — and we’re always excited to welcome new voices!
