Teacher days are full, busy days - and one of the simplest ways we can support our teachers is by taking lunch off their plates.
Weβre hosting a potluck lunch on an upcoming teacher work day (Monday, April 20) and inviting families to help in whatever way works best for them.
Each day will have a themed potluck, and there are multiple easy ways to participate - no cooking required.
Ways to Help
Bring a main dish, side, or dessert (homemade or store-bought)
Donate funds and the PTA will purchase food on your behalf
Volunteer your time to help with set-up, serving, or clean-up
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
On the morning of each event, PTA volunteers will be stationed in the carpool lane to collect food donations for quick and easy drop-off. If you need to pick up a dish after the lunch, you can do so in the carpool lane as well.
Every contribution - big or small - helps make these days feel extra special for our teachers. Thank you for supporting them in a way that fits your schedule!
ποΈΒ First Friday of every month
Show your Cheetah pride on the first Friday of each month by wearing a school shirt, yellow, purple, teal, or cheetah-themed clothing. Volunteers will be at the front door to hand out stickers or small prizes to participating students.
ποΈΒ First Saturday of every month
πΒ 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
πΒ Front of HSES
On the first Saturday of each month, families and students are invited to help keep our school looking its best. The Cheetah Green Team works together on light yard work, campus clean-up, and small landscaping projects. Bring your gloves and help us care for our school grounds.
Volunteers make the School Store possible, and all dates are now open for sign-ups! π π
The School Store is a fun before-school shopping opportunity for students - and a great way to practice real-world math skills! Students can bring money from home to purchase small toys, trinkets, and other fun items.
β¨ How it works:
Students drop backpacks in their classroom first, then head to the lobby to shop.
Items start at just 25Β’.
Please send quarters and small bills, up to $2β$5 per child.
